Seondo Electric Signs Supply Agreement with SK Hynix for MCP and Distribution Board Production and Installation
Seondo Electric, a specialist in heavy electrical equipment, has once again demonstrated its technological prowess by securing a large-scale supply contract with the global semiconductor leader, SK Hynix.
On January 28, Seondo Electric announced through a public disclosure that it had signed a contract for the production and installation of MCP and Distribution Boards. The contract is valued at approximately USD 5.9 million (KRW 7.8 billion), which represents a substantial 32.36% of the company’s 2024 consolidated revenue.
The project will be carried out in Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. The contract period is scheduled to run for approximately 31 months, from January 2026 to August 2028.
An official from Seondo Electric stated, "This contract is a testament to our superior technology in electrical transformation and control devices being recognized in high-precision industrial environments, such as semiconductor production lines." The official added, "Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our expertise in heavy electrical equipment to ensure stable product supply and accelerate our business expansion."
